What Can Kia Connect Do?
There’s a wide variety of useful Kia Connect features that make your travel experience more convenient and secure. Driving an EV or PHEV? Kia Connect can send notifications to alert you when your battery is running low, and can even guide you to the nearest charging station when needed. Other notable features include parked vehicle location assistance, remote door locking/unlocking, and remote engine start with climate control.
In addition to the features detailed above, Kia Connect also gives drivers access to Kia Digital Key, allowing drivers to access and drive their Kia vehicle using their smartphone or smartwatch. In addition, drivers can use Kia Connect to receive Map Over-The Air Updates (Map OTA), allowing them to keep their vehicle’s navigation system up to date without hassle. Map updates typically occur twice a year.
